Extreme weather hits South Korea yet again

Yet again Korea is hit hard by extreme rainfall, and this time it was even bigger. Last year. Sept. 21 2010, Seoul experienced 150mm rain which was enough to cripple road and subway system. Today, July 27 2011, more than 400mm rain not only crippled the transportation, but also took more than 38 human lives, destroyed apartments and condos and washed away cars. My condolence to the families who lost their beloved ones, hope they find strength and courage in this difficult situation.

The sign however of weather becoming more and more extreme signals the definite change of our environment. Seeing the lives being taken away like this in one more the worlds better economy makes me feel pain to see how people would manage in poorer countries if any of these things happen.
