Setting up LAN

It took unbelieviably more than 4 hours to set up a simple LAN for me. Not because I was doing it for the first time, but because of few changes in XP firewall policy to block the ICMP packets. Phew!. While 4 hours also included the time of installing XP in a slow Kapil's machine, but finally ended well enough for a nice hot coffee can. Now that we are using CCProxy as our proxy server, doesn't seem to me as a good idea. Why? first it is not free, limits number of users. Second, simply I haven't used it. Ain't here any totally good free proxy server?!! need to google more I guess. More so, Current version of CCProxy can't support webcam or voice chat function of yahoo messenger and MSN messenger. If you want to use webcam or voice chat, we recommend you to use SKYPE.
